Terms of Service
Last updated June 21, 2026
yosemite.camp is part of the Joey Castillo / kASTIL Systems family. These terms cover this app specifically and sit
on top of the master terms at
joeycastillo.us/terms — read those too; anything not covered here falls back to them.
yosemite.camp is a free, personal tool for planning and running a Yosemite trip — live conditions and activity info, signing up for what you'll bring or do, and coordinating (“Link-Ups”) with friends and family. It's provided as-is and as-available. By using it you agree to these terms and the master terms.
Signing in
You can sign in with Discord; that's also governed by Discord's terms. We use sign-in only to identify you and connect you to your trip — see yosemite.camp/privacy.
Conditions & safety — verify before you rely on it
Your safety is yours. Weather, road, closure, air-quality, and conditions data are pulled best-effort from third parties (NWS, NPS, Caltrans, and others) and may be delayed, cached, incomplete, or wrong — and the app is built to keep showing the last-known data when you're offline on the trail. Always confirm with official sources before any safety decision. You and your group are responsible for your own choices outdoors. yosemite.camp is not a navigation or life-safety tool.
Link-Ups & sharing
Planning is yours by default. When you invite friends into a Link-Up or share details, you're choosing to make that information visible to the people in that group. Only share what you're comfortable sharing, and be decent to the people you plan with.
Acceptable use, availability, liability
- Use the app for its intended, lawful purpose — planning your own trips with people you know.
- Don't abuse, attack, scrape, or overload the app or its sign-in.
- No uptime guarantee; features may change or disappear.
- Provided “as is,” no warranties; liability is limited as described in the master terms.
